Wedding Notice Advertiser and Register 30 September 1931 At the Yorketown Methodist Church on September 23, the marriage was celebrated of Donald Clive only son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Radford, of Fullarton Estate, and May Irene, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Wilkinson, of Yorketown. The bride who was given away by her father wore white satin, the tight-fitting bodice having long sleeves, and the flared skirt reached the ground. The hand-made Belgian lace bridal veil was arranged off the face caught on either side with orange blossom, and formed tbe train at the back. She carried a sheaf of camellias and carnations in pale pink and white. The bridesmaid, Miss Audrey Radford (sister of the bridegroom) was frocked in apricot georgette, the long double flared skirt trimmed with a narrow ribbon. She wore mittens and a string of crystals, the gift of the bridegroom, and carried a sheaf of apricot gladioli. Mr. Alan Wilkinson was best man. The Rev. J. Cleland Barrett officiated, and Miss Nance Wilkinson (cousin of the bride) presided at tbe organ. The bride's mother was gowned in black marocain with touches of beige georgette, and hat ensuite. She carried a bouquet in autumn tints. The bridegroom's mother wore a black marocain ensemble relieved with white, and a black baku hat and her posy was of pink and mauve blossoms. The bride's travelling frock was of plum-colored marocain and she had a hat to match and a fur stole, the gift of tbe bridegroom.

_Wedding Notice Port Lincoln Times 4th Janaury 1940 RUSH - DORWARD On December 23, the marriage of Beryl Jean Dorward, of Port Lincoln, and Thomas Rush, of North Shields (England), was solemnised at St John's Church, Halifax street, Adelaide. The church was prettily decorated with pink gladioli. The bride entered the church on the arm of her brother (Mr. J.H. Dorward), and looked charming in a frock of ivory satin. The panel merging into a train was braided with silver, also the collar which was held in place at the neck with a cluster of orange blossom. Her veil was a misty tulle, and she carried a sheaf of Madonna lillies. Mrs J.H. Dorward was matron of honor, and the bridesmaid (Miss Joan Shutter, of Adelaide), were frocked alike in white self patterned organdie. The only trimming was emerald green velvet ribbon interlaced across the bodices and round the sleeves, and the girdles were of the same ribbon. They wore white picture hats and carried scarlet roses and gladioli. Marilyn Dorward, niece of the bride, was flower girl, and wore a white frilled georgette frock. A basket of scarlet roses was carried. Mr Colin Carson, of Adelaide, was best man. The bride's mother chose a floral frock with plain navy coat and accesssories. She wore a spray of red carnations and fern. The reception was held at the Grosvenor, North terrace, Adelaide.
