Court Notice Naracoorte Herald 9 March 1950 Before Messrs. A.B. Jellett and A. McLean, Lester James Barrett, carrier of Naracoorte, was charged with attempting to cross a railway line in a manner which might reasonably give rise to a dangerous situation, a breach of Section 122 (2) of the Road Traffic Act. The charge resulted from an accident on the Kingston crossing on Christmas Eve. Defendant pleaded guilty and was fined £2 with 10/ costs, in default seven days. Payment was made forthwith.

_Police Court Notice Port Lincoln Times 11th Janaury 1940 Lindsay Neil Bedson, licensed victualler, of Ceduna, was charged with the unlawful sale of liquor during prohibited hours. He pleaded guilty. M.C. Williams prosecuted. The defendant who admitted a previous conviction was fined £10, court fees 10/- in default 14 days' imprisonment. Defendant then applied for a certificate of triviality, and agve evidence on oath as to his grounds for applying for same. M.C. Williams opposed the application, and quoted several judgments as to offence of trivial nature. The court after consideration, decided to grant the application.

Divorce Notice The Advertiser 6 May 1926 Beryl Florence Biggins who petitioned for a divorce from Gilbert James Biggins, was represented by Mr. R. C. Check. The evidence showed that the parties were married at a registry office in Adelaide on August 16, 1922, and their were no children of the marriage. They lived at Norwood, North Adelaide, Halifax-street, Adelaide, and other places, including rail camps on the Pinnaroo line. They were happy together until June 1924, when the petitioner ascertained that her husband had established certain relations with Olive May Copeland. A decree nisi was granted.
