Wedding Notice Advertiser & Register 13 August 1931 At the Holy Trinity Church, Lyndoch, on Saturday evening, August 8, the marriage was celebrated of Ada Marian younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Springbett, "Hillside," Lyndoch. and Arnold W. D. (John), elder son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Ahrens. of Sheoak Log. The Rev. C. W. L. Noon officiated, and Mr. E. Crambrook played the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in white satin with long tight fitting sleeves, and the bodice, which was modelled to the figure, was slightly shirred. The skirt was fully flared and fell to the ground. The tulle veil, which formed the train, was worn off the face, and caught at the sides with orange blossom. The bride wore a string of pearls (the gift of the bridegroom), and carried a sheaf of lilies. The bridesmaids, Miss Lillian Springbett (sister of the bride) and Miss Rita Bennett, were frocked alike in white satin with tight-fitting bodices cut low at the front and back, and flared skirts worn ankle length. Large hats, pink and green, were worn off the face with satin bows at the back, and satin shoes to match. They both wore crystal necklaces, the gift of the bridegroom, to match the hats, and carried pink posies. Mr. Len Springbett (cousin of the bride) was best man, and Mr. Frank Springbett (brother of the bride) groomsman. The bride's travelling frock was of navy relieved with white, and hat, shoes, and coat to match. The honeymoon is being spent in travelling.

Wedding Notice Advertiser and Register 10 April 1931 St. Theodore's, Rose Park, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday evening, when the marriage was celebrated of Edward H,, eldest son of Mr and Mrs. E Andrews, "Tandora," Broken Hil,. and Dorothy, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs C. A. Horne, of Linden Park. The Rev. F. H. King officiated, and Mr. A. J. Owen presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory satin, moulded to the figure, with a fully flared skirt to the ground. The long bridal veil of tulle edged with silver lace was held in place at the back of the head with camellias, and she carried a sheaf of white roses and carnations. The bridesmaid. Miss Mona Horne, was frocked in blue brocaded taffeta, with a tight-fitting bodice and a skirt flared from the hips. The hat was of blue panne velvet to match. Mr. A. Andrews was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Arcadia. The parents of the bride and bridegroom received with the wedding party. Mrs. Horne, the bride'e mother, wore black marocain, trimmed with white, and black and white velvet hat. She carried a posy of red roses. Mrs. Andrews, the bride groom's mother, was gowned in brown satin, with touches of floral satin and hat to match. She carried a posy of autumn tints. The guests invited were:—Mr. G. W.
