_Wedding Notice Murray Pioneer 16th February 1950 GLOVER - HARVEY Wedding at Kew, Victoria On Saturday, February 4, at the Holy trinity Church of England, Kew, Victoria, the marriage was solemnized of Vera Alice Harvey and Thomas Nicholas Glover. The Rev. Thornton officiated. The bride is the only daughter of Mrs. D. Harvey of Perth, and the late Mr. S. Harvey. The bridegroom is the son of the late Mr and Mrs William Glover, of Renmark. The bride entered the church accompanied by her cousin, Mr R. Myer. She wore a gown of pale blue moss crepe and toning floral trimmed hat. The bridesmaid was Miss Joan Hay, who was gowned in a pale pink crepe frock and wore a picture hat. Both bride and bridesmaid carried bouquets of red roses. Mr Norman Smith was best man. During the signing of register Mrs. N.S. Smith sang "Praise my soul the King of Heaven." After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride's aunt. The future home will be in Renmark.

Wedding Notice West Coast Sentinel 1st May 1914 GREEN - CAMPBELL The marriage of Miss Florence Emily, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Fred Campbell of Streaky Bay, to Mr. Walter Green of Mount Gambier, was celebrated at St. Augustine's Church of England, streaky Bay, on Saturday afternoon last, the officiating clergyman being Canon Howard. The church was nicely decorated, and from a bamboo arch in the isle was suspended a large bell. The bride, who was given away by her father, was prettily robed in cream crepe de chine, trimmed with fur and pearls, with white satin shoes to match, while she wore the customary wreath, veil and train, and carried a bouquet of orange blossom and lillies of the valley. The first bridesmaid was Miss Milly Campbell (sister of the bride), who wore pale blue crepe de chene, trimmed with white fur and pearls, blue satin shoes to match, and carried a pink muff, trimmed with pale pink flowers, and fern. Little Misses Linda Campbell (sister of the bride) and Florrie Montgomerie (cousin) were second bridesmaids, and were both dressed in white musslin, and carried crooks trimmed with lilies of the valley. Mr. John Harrison (cousin of the bride) acted as best man. After the ceremony, which was concluded with the singing of the hymn "Lead us Heavenly Father, lead us" a prayer and a few words of homely advice to the newly wedded pair by Canon Howard, the whole assemblge adjourned to the institute, where the health of the happy couple was pledged, the toast being given by Canon Howard and replied to by Mr. Green who expressed gratification at the good wishes extended by the whole of the company.The wedding breakfast followed and at this a very large number were entertained, and the spread was in every way a sumptuous one. In the evening dancing was indulged in, being kept going by a large number of friends and relatives, until close upon midnight, when the Rupara hove in sight, and the newly wedded pair sailed for their new home, amid the good wishes of a large gathering. The bride's travelling dress was a navy blue coat and skirt, with black velvet hat, trimmed with white feathers. Mr and Mrs Green were the recipients of a large and varied assortment of useful and costly presents, besides a goodly sum in cash. Mr. Green has earned fame as a rifle shot, and was a member of the last team to visit England.
