Divorce Notice The Advertiser 16 September 1933 In the Supreme Court yesterday the Chief Justice (Sir George Murray) heard the undefended action for divorce. Order for nisi for dissolution of marriage was made : Ida Gladys Ansell, of Orroroo, against William John Ansell, of Gaza on the grounds of desertion and misconduct. Mrs Ansell admitted that she had herself been guilty of misconduct during the marriage. The Chief Justice said the fact that the plaintiff was guilty of misconduct was a sufficient reason for the court to exercise its discretion by refusing a divorce, but he considered that this was a fit case for the court to grant a divorce. Custody of a child, Elizabeth Lorraine was given to Mrs Ansell. Mr J.L. Travers appeared for Mrs Ansell.
