Wedding Notice West Coast Sentinel 20th March 1914 DOLPHIN - JOHNSON A pretty wedding was celebrated at the homestead of Mr. M.W. Johnson, of Coolupimba, on Thursday morning, February 19th, when Miss Sylvia P. Johnson, was married to Mr. Chas. T. Dolphin, fifth son of Mr. G. Dolphin of Talia. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Canon Howard. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in satin, striped with voile, richly trimmed with silk lace and satin. She also wore the usual veil and wreath of orange blossoms, and carried a pretty bouquet of asparagus fern and white flowers. There were two bridesmaids, Miss jOhnson and Miss Grace Johnson (sisters of the bride). The former was dressed in pale blue silk, with white lace net over dress, and the latter in pale blue silk. each wore a hat to match, and the bridegroom's gift (gold brooches, set with rubies). Mr. A. Dolphin acted as best man, and Mr. Frank Dolphin as groomsman. After congratulations and good wishes had been showered on the happy couple, the wedding breakfast was served at which the usual toasts were honored. The bride and bridegroom left that afternoon by motor for their home at Talia, amid showers of rice and every expression of goodwill. The bride's travelling dress was sage green cristleen, trimmed with silk all-over, and silk and cream hat. They received many expensive and useful presents, which were as follows - Bridegroom's father to bride and bridegroom , £50 each; bride's parents, cheque; Mr. A. Wedding Notice Advertiser and Register 30 September 1931 CRAMP—DUGGIN At the Congregational Church, Renmark, on September 23, Avis Alice Cramp eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Cramp, Renmark. was married to James William, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Duggin. of Renmark. Pastor W. H. Turner officiated, and Mrs. E. M. Tranter played tbe organ. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a frock of ivory marocain, with full flared skirt, ankle length, and train attached. The bridal veil was of silk tulle, held in place by a coronet of orange blossom. The bridesmaid, Miss Merle Ray was frocked in blue silk Georgette, flared to the ankle and wore a picture bat of blue silk straw and tulle. The flower girls Letty Cramp (sister of bride) and Iris Lowden, wore blue silk georgette flared to the ankle, with picture hat. The best man was Mr. Milton Cramp (brother of bride). The bride's mother wore navy blue, with saxe blue trimmings, and hat to tone. The bridegroom's mother was gowned in navy satin, trimmed with green, with hat to match. Mr. Vic. Finlow sang "Thanks be to God" while the register was being signed. A reception was held at the home of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Duggin left by car for the South East.

_Wedding Notice Port Lincoln Times 4th Janaury 1940 DURDIN - COX The marriage of Henrietta Caroline, second daughter of Mr and Mrs J.R. Durdin, of Tumby Bay, to Leslie Harcourt (Bon), only son of Mrs and the late Mr.E. Cox, of Richmond, was celebrated in the Tumby Bay Methodist Church on December 23. The church was attractively decorated in pink and white carnations and antirrhinums, with a beautiful arch, also in pink and white, with a huge white bell and the initials of the bride and bridegroom attached. The bride wore a frock of embossed satin with a gorgeous long train, and wore a veil, loaned by her sister (Mrs W. Lloyd), and carried a sheath of white roses. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father to the strains of the Wedding March, played by Miss Mary Wibberley. The bride was preceded by little Valda Morgan and Bruce Lawrie, flower girl and page boy respectively. Both were attractively dressed in white. The flower girl carried a magnificant basket of pink roses and the page a white satin cushion. The bridesmaids, Miss Ivy Durdin (bride's sister) and Iris Lawrie, were dressed alike, in pink sheer frocks, with short trains and attractive head dresses and accessories to match. Both carried sheaths of magnificent pink gladioli. Messrs.Rex Teakle and Keith Lawrie were best man and groomsman respectively. The bride's mother wore a frock of blue floral georgette with accessories to match, and carried a bouquet of cream and lemon shaded roses. Mrs. L. N. Cummings, of Sheringa, represented the bridegroom's mother. She wore a smartly cut frock of green sheer with accessories to match, and carried a posy of dark roses. During the signing of the register Mrs. M.C. Morris rendered a solo, and as the bride left the church little Rosemary Morris hung a lucky horseshoe on her arm. The Rev. M.C. Morris officiated. The reception was held at the bride's home when 70 guests sat down to the wedding breakfast. After the usual toasts had been honored, the bride cut the four-tiered wedding cake, the gift of the bride's mother. Mr and Mrs Cox will make their future home in Tumby Bay.
