Wedding Notice Advertiser and Register 10 July 1931 At the Jamestown Methodist church on Saturday, July 4, Molly, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Effick of James town, was married to Lloyd, eldest son' of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. George, of Spalding. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. D. J. Wellington. The church was decorated, and the service was fully choral. As the bridal party entered the church the organist Miss D. Stephens, played "The Bridal March" and the hymn "O Perfect Love" was sung. The bride wore cream georgette in full flared style reaching to her shoes, and a honiton lace veil which fell to form a train. She carried a bouquet of white, with pale pink carnations. Pale green crepe satin in similar design, with matching felt hat, relieved with layers of tulle, green satin shoes, and bouquet of pale autumn tonings, were worn by the bridesmaid, Miss Florrie Birrel, or Glenelg (cousin of the bride). Mr. Bill Giles, of Adelaide, was best man. The bride's mother wore a navy frock, with hat to match, and carried a bouquet of violets and iris. The bridegroom's mother chose a toilet of black, with mauve tonings 'The Wedding March" was played as the wedding party left the church. A reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents, where afternoon tea was served. After congratulations and good wishes the happy couple left by motor car, the bride travelling in brown ensemble, with hat and shoes en suite.
