_Court Notice Naracoorte Herald 20th January 1949 Before Mr. D.C. Williams, S.M. in the Naracoorte Police court on January 12, John Alexander Stuart, farmer, was charged with a breach of Section 30 of the Road Traffic Act, in that he drove a motor vehicle while not being in possession of a current driver's licence. A plea of guilty was entered by Mr. F.C. Barter, who expained the circumstances, and a fine of 10/- with 5/- costs was imposed.

Order for nisi for dissolution of marriage was made : Ernest Hercules Symons of Hauteville terrace, Eastwood against Victoria Jean Deans Symons, of Hutt street, Adelaide, on the ground of her misconduct with Jack Fenton, of Hutt street, Adelaide. Mrs Symons who admitted misconduct filed a defence and counter claim on the ground of cruelty, misconduct, desertion and failure to pay maintenance. She was present in court and said she did not appear in support of her defence and counter claim and was indifferent whether her husband got a divorce or not. Mr. P.B.A. Parsons appeared for Parsons.
